DUTY TO INSPECT.
All items sold on JIRTU are sold as is. Defects and errors are sometimes found on the items sold because they are usually used.
As a buyer, you have the duty and the right to inspect the items you have won. This means that at the time of collection you must examine and approve the condition of the item in relation to the auction documentation.
When you download the item, JIRTU’s delivery receipt must be signed. The seller is not responsible for any errors that the bidder did not detect at the time of collection. If you hire a shipping agent or agent to collect the item, you are deemed to have approved the item when it leaves the principal’s pickup location. The client or JIRTU is not responsible for any errors that occur after collection. JIRTU or the principal are not responsible for deficiencies in property sold by receivers or the like.
